What Couchowl does
For TVs and projectors, prices differ by tens or even hundreds of euros from shop to shop and week to week, and every year brings a new series with slightly different model numbers. Couchowl puts the prices side by side. Each model has one page with all its versions: screen size and finish, each with its own EAN code or the manufacturer’s model number.
A price belongs to exactly one version: we never compare a 55-inch with a 65-inch from the same series, or a 1-metre HDMI cable with a 3-metre one. We only show shop prices once we have checked them for the exact version; if the version is ambiguous, we show no price rather than guess.
Independent
Couchowl doesn’t sell anything and isn’t affiliated with the brands on this site. We use brand names to describe what is in the catalogue, not to suggest a partnership.
If Couchowl later earns money from links to shops or from advertising, this will be stated clearly next to the link or placement concerned. The order of products and prices is not for sale.
Not a test lab
We don’t test devices ourselves. We show what the manufacturer states, such as the screen size in inches, the panel (OLED, QLED, LED), the refresh rate in Hz, the number of HDMI 2.1 ports and, for projectors, the brightness in ANSI lumens. What you finally see also depends on your room, the light and how far you sit from the screen; we are honest about that.
